These independent MPs won
• Mohammad Hanifa has defeated Congress candidate Shering Namgyal from Ladakh seat.
• Independent candidate Engineer Abdul Rashid Sheikh from Baramulla seat has defeated former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah.
• Amritpal Singh, the head of the Waris Punjab De organisation and a Khalistani leader, has won the election from Khadoor Sahib seat. Amritpal Singh is lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam.
• . Umeshbhai Babubhai Patel has defeated Lalubhai Babubhai Patel of BJP from Daman and Diu seat by a margin of 6,225 votes. Let us tell you that BJP has lost the Daman and Diu seat after 15 years.
• Vishal Prakashbabu Patil has won as an independent candidate from Sangli Lok Sabha seat of Maharashtra.
• Sarabjit Singh Khalsa won as an independent candidate from Faridkot seat of Punjab. Let us tell you that Sarabjit Singh Khalsa is the son of Beant Singh, the assassin of former PM Indira Gandhi.

Recently, Vishal Prakashbabu Patil, who won as an independent candidate from Sangli Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra, has given his support to Congress. After which the number of Congress seats has reached 100.
